"REAL LIFE"

I guess your wondering why i put that as the subject! Well, I'll tell ya why! Most of you know that my hubby was gone ALL weekend and didn't come home till about 1am this morning!! Therefore, that meant i was living the "single" life from Friday till Sunday..lol..Not the "single" life you might be thinking!! What i mean by that is, it was just me and Amber Lynn all weekend!! There wasn't a hubby or a man around!! We had a GREAT time!! We spent the whole weekend together and did things she wanted to do! Steven was gone to his Aunt Candy's, he said he didn't wanna hang out with us "girls"..lol
Ickey was gone to Talladega with his buddies, Steven was at Candy's, and me and Amber hung out and had "girl" time! We went to visit a few people we hadn't seen it a while and just had a great time!! Amber said Moma we should do this more often..lol.. we need to send Ickey & Bubba away for the weekend more often..lol..it was kinda cool just having "girl time"! Don't get me wrong, i spend time with both of my kids, but it meant ALOT to Amber for me and her to have that mother/daughter time! I have to say I enjoyed it myself!! Steven has already said, next time Moma, we'll have mother/son time..lol
Amber goes to her daddy's every other weekend, so it looks like this next weekend will be our mother/son time..lol..i love my kids so much and it makes me so happy to be able to spend time with them and do things with them!! I'm grateful to have both of them in my life!!

Update

I just wanted to give you a quick update on the sickness! I'm feeling better. I'm still sick though, my cough is still there and it's moved up and is more my sinus' than anything. I've had a real bad sinus headache all day! I took some head & congestion pills and those didn't seem to work, so i had to take some excedrin sinus headache pills and those worked ALOT better!! It relieved alot of that pressure i had! I felt like my left eyeball was ready to pop right out my eye socket and like the left side of my nose was gonna blow off! It was ALOT of pressure and it hurt me so bad, but it's not as bad since i took the sinus headache pills! Other than the cough and sinus junk going on i do feel better!
Steven was sick over the weekend! He had a fever and felt bad, but he felt better yesterday. He still has a runny nose and a cough, but other than that, he's better and doesn't have a fever.
Last night i went to Walmart with a friend of mine and when i came back Amber was complaining of her stomach hurting, so i felt her head and she felt hot, so i checked her temperature and sure enough she had a fever, so i give her some Advil and send her to bed! I get up this morning and go in her room and feel her before i wake up her and she was on fire!! I wake her up and check her temperature and it's 102.5, so i give her some more Advil and she lays back down with me! An hour later, her fever was still high, she was also complaining with her back hurting, so i went ahead and give her some more medicine! Finally a few hours later her fever broke! She was feeling a little better, but just a little bit ago, she came in here saying she was feeling bad again, so we check her temp. and it's back up, so again she got more medicine! I hope it goes away soon and she feels better soon. Maybe she'll feel better and be able to go back to school tomorrow. If not, i guess she'll be at home until she gets better!!

He said Miracle worker

I just wanted to give everyone an update on my sickness! I'm still real sick! My chest, throat, & nose feels like they are on fire, so i called my doctor to see if he could call me in some cough medicine (a little stronger that what I've been taking) and a Z-pack. He calls me back and tells me that he called in a Z-pack and some cough medicine with codeine it in and it will work a miracle, so we shall see!! I've still ran a fever all day, I've been hot one minute and cold the next, i still feel like crap!! I've got to get better, cause my house is a wreck and my laundry is slowing piling up!! Not to mention, Steven has a basketball game in the morning at 8am, I can't miss my son's game!! I sure hope this cough medicine and the Z-pack will work a miracle! Please pray that it does, so i don't miss Steven's game!! Anyways, i just wanted to give everyone an update on how i was doing!! Thanks to the ones that have already prayed, please keep praying and thanks to everyone that sent me get well wishes on myspace! I'm off to drink some cough medicine and get me some more rest. That's all I've done since Tuesday is sleep, so hopefully i can get better cause i feel like I've slept to much..lol..anyways have a good night, a good weekend, and please don't forget to pray for me!!

I feel horrible

Please pray for me!! I feel horrible! I think i might be coming down with the Flu! I have been running a fever all night and I've done nothing, but sweat since about 1:30 this morning!! My chest is hurting me so bad from coughing, my nose is stopped up one minute and running the next! I hate being sick!! I know it's whoopin' my butt!!
Please please pray that i get better real soon!!

i was calling the law at 4am

This blog is about a few different things! Just wanted to warn ya!

Let's start with early this morning!
This morning at 4am i was woke up by a LOUD noisy out by my bedroom window! It sounded like someone was trying to break in our house!
We have tin nailed up to the side of the house to keep the cold air out from underneath our house!
I had went to bed around 12:30 last night, cause for the past couple of night I've been able to go to bed and actually get a good night's sleep!
Well, i had woke up a few time before 4 with my back and my legs bothering me, it was right at 4 when i woke up with my back hurting me really bad, so i sit up in the bed and take some medicine and light a cigarette. While i was doing all that, i woke Ickey up making noise, i didn't mean to wake him up! I was telling him i was sorry for waking him up and i was ok, for him to go back to sleep! At that time WE heard a LOUD noise, it sound like someone was trying to break in!! I looked at him and said "what the hell was that?", he said "i have NO idea", so i tell him to get up and look out the window and he did, but he didn't see anything or anybody, but he looked out the front window instead of the side window, so then by the time he looks out the side window he didn't see anything or anybody, but like he said he was dark on that side of the house!
This is what it sounded like, We have tin nailed up on the side of our house, so it will keep the cold air our from under the house, so our pipes don't freeze. Anyways, it sounded like they was climbing up the tin and fell, it was like their foot hit the tin cause they may have slipped! I was scared to death!! My heart was going 100 miles per hour!!
Ickey got up and went through the house looking to see if anybody was in here and there wasn't, so i told him i was calling the police just to be safe! I call the Sheriff's office because we live 12 miles from the city, so we have to call the county. The send someone out here and he walks all around the house! He comes in and tells me he didn't see anybody out there, but he had tried to pull on our under pining to see if it would fall and it didn't cause it was nailed up! Which i knew that! I told him i knew the wind couldn't blow it over cause for one it was nailed up and for two last week when we had tornado warnings and the wind was blowing real hard, it didn't blow down! That's when he said oh no honey i know it wasn't the wind! He says he's gonna look around more and check in and around the house that's next to us. The house next to us, is one that Ickey's uncle use to live in years ago and it caught fire, but only messed up the inside and we're in the process of cleaning it out, so they can take it down.
We live next to a Milling company, but that have been closed for about a year now, so i told him, if someone was out there they might have ran to hide at the mill or in the field behind out house. I told him if they was out there then they had enough time to get out of dodge, he said he was gonna look at the mill, around the senior citizens building (beside out house), and around in the field! I guess he didn't find anybody or anything cause he never showed back up here! Although, he did say he would stay in the area riding around! I told him Thank you cause our cars had been broke into a week ago and 2 other houses that was not even a block from us was broke into the week before and last weekend! He said he knew about it and would keep an eye out for anyone suspicious in the area.
I know we haven't went out there today and looked for ourselves to see if anything was messed up or not! I guess Ickey will do that when he gets home from work, i know he better..ha-ha!
Thank goodness that if someone was out there, when their foot or whatever it was hit then tin, it scared them and they ran off! It had to be someone cause of the noise it made! No animal or anything like that is going to make that kind of noise!! TRUST ME!!
I so know this, this is getting on my nerves and i can't take this!! I was losing sleep over our cars, i just hope that this don't cause me to be able not to go to sleep again!! Like i had said before, we have NEVER had this kind of trouble up here. We could go to sleep with the doors unlocked, windows left down, keys in the car, and windows to the house up, but now it's like you gotta lock everything!! This is CRAZY, it wasn't even like this when we lived with Moma! I can't take this!! This is too much for me to have to deal with!! If someone was trying to break in, trust me we don't have anything they would want..lol

On to my next topic...
This morning when i was up, i turned it on the news to see what was going on and to get a look at the weather. I couldn't believe what i had saw!
The weather said it was 15 degrees in Nashville, 11 degrees at the Nashville Zoo, & 13 degrees in Kentucky. Most of you know that we are 3.5 Miles from the Kentucky. It's always colder here in Orlinda than it is in Kentucky and/or Nashville, so that meant it was about 8-10 degrees here!
I couldn't believe it was actually that cold outside!! I mean it's been cold before, but NOT that cold, with the windchill it was probably way colder than that!
Come on now, one day it's like 70 and the next day it's 10. What's up with that? I told all the kids this morning, it's colder than a well diggers hinney outside, they didn't get what i was saying at first! I thought it was funny! They didn't of course, but then when they got what i was saying then they laughed!

On to the next topic....
Our Anniversary was great!! We got ready and went to Springfield. We stopped at Walmart first for me to get my nails done. I had an appointment at 5:45, but when i get there, the girl that use to be my best friend was there with her moma and sister, so i turned around and walked out cause i knew it would be some DRAMA, she's the one i call DRAMA MOMA, so i called the nail guy and ask him how long would it be and explained the story to him, he tells me 30 minutes, so i asked Ickey if he wanted to go eat he said yea, so we did! He wanted McDonald's, so we went to McDonald's, YES you read that right we ate McDonald's for our anniversary dinner. It was GOOD, too!! I ended up not going to Walmart to get my nails done i had to go elsewhere to get my nails done. The place i went, the women didn't know what she was doing and messed them up! After that we headed down to Silverado's to meet up with some friends of ours! We got down there about 8 or a little after, we had to stand in line and it was COLD outside, by the time we got inside my nose was froze and i felt like my top lip was numb. Anyways, we had a GREAT time!! I have pics on my myspace if you wanna see!!

Alright, I'm done, i just wanted to let you know what was going on in Wendy's world!!

The nerve of some people

I tell you what, some people have there nerve!! Yesterday (Monday) my nephew Tyler came in and was telling me that i need to start locking my car doors at night! I ask him, why, he says cause when i went out and got in my car, someone had messed with my radio and stole my change, so i tell him to go out to my car and see if my radio was still in there. He comes back in and says yea, but did you leave your remote in your seat? I tell him, NO, i haven't been anywhere today! I call Ickey and tell him that someone was in Tyler's car trying to steal his radio, but they didn't get it, all they got was his change!
Most of you know i bought my kids go carts for Christmas, so i get Tyler to go around back to make sure there still there and they are, thank goodness! We never thought anything else of it!
Well, I get in my car to go to the store an i notice that my car had been tore all to pieces! I mean the stuff that was in the front was now in the back! My radio had been messed with, but my radio is hard to get out of my car, just like my speakers, it takes time! Again, i thought nothing else of it cause everything was still there!
Ickey calls me when he's on his way home and says "my tool box is gone out of the back of my truck", so i get mad because he had to have those tools for work! I told him when he got here we would check around outside and make sure nothing else was missing and we would call the police, so i had to call Tyler and tell him to come home from work, so i could call the police and make a report!
When Ickey gets here, we're talking about it and he tells me that when he went out and started his truck he opened my front passenger door to unlocked the back passenger door, so he could put Steven's car seat back in my car. He says he did all that and then he came back in. He said when he goes out to get in his truck to leave he notices that my interior light in on, so he says to himself "i know i shut the door", he double checks the passenger door, sure enough it's closed, so he walks around and my driver door is open. He shuts it and goes on about his business, he thought when Tyler drove my car, that he might have not shut it good! Amber hears us talking about it and she says "Moma, when i got on the school bus, i noticed that Tyler's car door was open and i thought he forgot to shut it" By that time Tyler is here and he starts telling us that when he went out that his door was open. When he got in his car is when he noticed his radio broke, but he was running late, so he just went on to school!
The police get here and we're all outside telling him what happened and he says he would've did some finger printing, but we had all already touched the doors and radios. Oh that made it even worse for me! He took a report and give us all a card with the report number on it! He said the one day last week our neighbors house was vandalized and broke into, but they caught them. He said when they caught them, they had already sold most of our neighbors belongings. Then he tells us that Saturday, that a house and a car got broken into. Both of the incident's are one block(if that) from our house. The house that got in last week is one block(if that) to the right of us and the one on Saturday is one block(if that) to the right of us! The one of Saturday happened at the house that's right behind our little town store. They got the women's purse, an ipod, and numerous of over things.
What made me really mad was, last week i was up till 2, 3, & 4 with my back and i keep on hearing things outside, so i would get up to go to the bathroom and I'd look outside, one night i seen 2 young boys walking up the highway with backpacks on. I said to myself now what are these boys doing out at 2 in the morning, walking up and down the highway with backpacks. To me it looked as if they has ran away from home! I went on and laid back down and didn't think nothing else of it! *wonders what they we're up too*
We was lucky they didn't get no more than what they did. Which was Ickey's tool box and some change out of mine and Tyler's car! I know that they got into mine and Tyler's car cause the doors was open, but Ickey's doors are really hard to open. I almost broke a nail trying to open the door the other day, so we figured out that they probably tried and couldn't get his doors open, so they got his tool box. The good thing about them not getting into his truck was he had a wrench set that he had just gotten Friday in the floor on his truck! He was very ticked cause he was getting a promotion at work and his boss was giving him time to get the tools he needed to do the job and now someone stole them, well except for the wrench set!
I really thought they would come back last night. I sat up for the longest waiting and listening for something outside. I heard some noises, but never seen nobody!
It really surprised us that they would do that with where we live. What i mean is we live on a busy highway. The highway we live on is the highway people use to go into Kentucky the back way. Our house is 3.5 miles from the Kentucky state line. Another thing is we live across the street from the fire department. They go in and out over at the fire hall all night long! Plus we live not even a block from the 4 way stop. This highway is busy all day and all night, so whoever done it had some balls!!
I remember when I first moved up here, we would sleep with the doors unlocked, windows up, and the car windows rolled down. You never had to worry about anything. Everybody knew everybody! You could leave your keys in your car at night and no one would steal your car, but now i guess that's all changed! I see people all day and all night walking up and down the road that I've NEVER seen before! I've noticed that there are alot more teenagers in the area. What i mean by that is, when we lived up here the last time it was older people and no one never caused trouble! You only seen the police if there was a wreck or something like that, but now you seen the police all the time! Don't get me wrong i love it here, it's quite (even with the cars going down the highway all hours of the night) and you don't hear gun shots or any of that stuff anytime of the day!
I'm just lucky and thankful that they didn't try to break in our house, steal the go carts and other things we had out back, and all they did get was a tool box full of brand new tools, and some change. It could have been worse!

OK, so that's what happened. I have to go and get ready to take Steven to ball practice!
